Awards

AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design, and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication.

These awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The AMCP is an international organization that consists of several thousand production, marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, and freelance professionals. In the past 15 percent of entries won Platinum, about 20 percent won a Gold Award and 10 percent received Honorable Mentions.

The City was awarded a Platinum Award for an integrated digital marketing campaign its staff developed for the Neighborhood Improvement and Community Engagement (NICE) Program. This campaign included promotion of the program through the development of a logo and branding (Which I was responsible for), a webpage, social media, public information meetings, virtual town hall meeting, videos, digital community surveys and traditional media coverage.
